Sometimes these items are multiple materials pressed together or they may contain materials that we are unable to handle. The list below gives some items we cannot take. Plastic grocery bags, as they get caught in the processing equipment Any plastic with food waste on it Bags from inside paperboard containers such as inside a cereal box Automotive chemical containers such as motor oil or antifreeze Pesticide containers Ice Cream containers Styrofoam including packing peanuts Juice boxes Blister packs Zip-Lock bags Used Tissues Just put your recycle tote out next to your trash. We will pick it up on the 1st and 3rd week with your regular trash pick up. The time may be different since it is a separate truck picking up recyclables.
